hello everyone,
I have been trying literally all summer to solve the rubiks cube blindfolded and i just cant understand any of the videos online or instructions. i can already solve a 3×3 but i want to know how to solve blindfolded. i am very determined and if someone could leave a response wih some links and instructions i would greatly appreciate it. i jus need an easy way
thanks, roy
The only way I think you can solve a rubrics cube blindfolded is if you start off with a new or solved cube and memorize the steps to when you scrambled it. Then if you memorized that well, you solve it in reverse order.
I need to understand the nerve pathway involved in distinguishing between items without seeing them. Thanks!
I apologize in advance for the last two parts of my answer for being technical and complex..
In short, the sense of touch has its pathway from the spinal cord and brain stem to its thalamic nucleus, for relay to the primary somatosensory receptive area of the neocortex. Sensory pathways consist of the chain of neurons, from receptor organ to cerebral cortex, that are responsible for the perception of sensations.
In neuropsychological terms, touch can be subjectively described as discriminating or crude. Discriminating (epicritic) touch implies an awareness of an object’s shape, texture, three-dimensional qualities, and other fine points. Also implied here is the ability to recognize familiar objects simply by tactile manipulation. Crude (protopathic) touch, on the other hand, lacks the fine discrimination described above and doesn’t generally give enough information to the brain to enable it to recognize a familiar object by touch alone. The tactile information implied here is of a much cruder nature than described for epicritic touch. The pathways to the brain for these two kinds of touch appear to be distinct.

General somatic mechanoreceptors sensitive to crude touch and pressure conduct information into the cord over GSA nerve fibers. The fibers pass up or down a few cord segments (neuromeres) in the dorsolateral (Lissauer) tract before synapsing chiefly in laminae VI, VII, and VIII. Second-order neurons cross over to the opposite side in the anterior white commissure to the anterior funiculus, where they turn upward in the anterior spinothalamic tract (ASTT) to the VPL of the thalamus. At higher pontine levels, the tract also comes to lie close to the medial lemniscus as it ascends to the thalamus. Third-order neurons project from the VPL to areas 3, 1, and 2 of the cerebral cortex. Some of the ASTT fibers send collaterals into the brainstem reticular formation. While some of these no doubt ultimately reach the thalamus by reticulothalamic projections, the principal fate and function of these collaterals is largely unknown.
See http://www.neurophysiology.ws/sensorypathways.htm for diagrams.

I’ll provide one last way to understand the somatosensory pathway. Somatosensory stimuli activate a chain of neurons starting with the peripheral first-order (1°) afferent and ending in the cerebral cortex.
Within each somatosensory pathway: the 1° afferent is a pseudounipolar neuron that has its cell body located in a peripheral (spinal or cranial) ganglion. It has a peripheral axon that forms or innervates somatosensory receptors and a central process that synapses with 2° afferent neuron(s) in a spinal cord or brain stem nucleus. The 2° afferent may synapse with 3° afferent neurons in the spinal cord or may ascend the neuraxis to synapse with 3° afferent neurons in the thalamus. There is a decussation (i.e., axons crossing the midline to the opposite side of the spinal cord or brain stem) in each somatosensory pathway below the level of the thalamus. All somatosensory pathways include a thalamic nucleus. The thalamic neurons send their axons in the posterior limb of the internal capsule to end in the cerebral cortex. Most somatosensory pathways terminate in the parietal lobe of the cerebral cortex.
Peace
What were you doing and why?
5 hours, my friends "kidnapped" me for a surprise party for me one time and they made me stay blindfolded in the car for the whole drive down to my friends lake house
my best record was 45 seconds.I have a good memory.
Can someone give me a video or a good website on how to solve a rubiks cube blindfolded. Its been my dream goal for over a 2 years.
http://solvethecube.110mb.com/index.php?location=blindfold
it’s an easy way without many algorithms i think but my memory isnt very good -.-
i’ve tried it and it’s good
and my record is 15.84 secs
Or if the Martial artist is Blind
Will it allow the martial artist to win a fight against an attacker?
Ninjutsu
and possibly samurai
I saw this in the movie Point Break and was wondering if this is a real exercise? If so, what’s it for?
If memory serves me well, that would be done in the process of obtaining a life saving certificate.
And would you care?
Nah…not really..
would you??
i heard of it but i dont understand what it’s about. like a teenage guy was blindfolded and…brought to a basketball game or something?
tnx a lot

If I blindfolded my girlfriend for a little sexual suprise what would I do to her? I’m also going to be wear tight pants and a tight shirt for her with nothing else.that turns her on. Any ideas please
Using you’r hands start with the feet and end up in the golden region.
Then do it again with your dick.
I think the guys might have been nfl players but they hit him from front, back, and sides in the face all at the same time and he just smiles. It was a hard Chi Kung demonstration I think….
