I have always been interested in enhancing my other senses by purposefully removing my sight for however amount of time and training my other senses to compensate and grow more sensitive. So I’m just wondering how long I can stay completely sightless before it causes irreparable damage.

Over the age of 10, you can’t get ‘deprivation amblyopia", which is weakened vision from covering the eye.

There is no proof that covering your eyes will cause any damage, above that age. I guess doing so will make you more aware of your other senses, at least while you are blindfolded.

I would be able to. I don’t drink sodas all that often but when I do, if someone gives me a soda and says it’s Coke, I can tell if it’s Pepsi. As far as clear sodas versus dark ones, I could tell the difference while blindfolded because of the aftertaste.
