Long ago there lived an old woman who had a wish. She wished more than anything to see for herself the difference between heaven and hell. The monks in the temple agreed to grant her request. They put a blindfold around her eyes, and said, "First you shall see hell."

When the blindfold was removed, the old woman was standing at the entrance to a great dining hall. The hall was full of round tables, each piled high with the most delicious foods — meats, vegetables, fruits, breads, and desserts of all kinds! The smells that reached her nose were wonderful.

The old woman noticed that, in hell, there were people seated around those round tables. She saw that their bodies were thin, and their faces were gaunt, and creased with frustration. Each person held a spoon. The spoons must have been three feet long! They were so long that the people in hell could reach the food on those platters, but they could not get the food back to their mouths. As the old woman watched, she heard their hungry desperate cries. "I’ve seen enough," she cried. "Please let me see heaven."

And so again the blindfold was put around her eyes, and the old woman heard, "Now you shall see heaven." When the blindfold was removed, the old woman was confused. For there she stood again, at the entrance to a great dining hall, filled with round tables piled high with the same lavish feast. And again, she saw that there were people sitting just out of arm’s reach of the food with those three-foot long spoons.

But as the old woman looked closer, she noticed that the people in heaven were plump and had rosy, happy faces. As she watched, a joyous sound of laughter filled the air.

And soon the old woman was laughing too, for now she understood the difference between heaven and hell for herself. The people in heaven were using those long spoons to feed each other.

I find this a great story, Hell is nothing more then a place without God’s love. What do you think?

once my brother came home from worrk and at the door his wife quickly blindfolded him, and said you can come in. she led him to a chair and said i’ll be riht back, i just have to finish talking with some one. and dont peak bc i made u a surprise dinner for ur b-day. and he sat down and farted so looouuud, and again and again. and to make a long story short this was goig on for like 20 minutes, and his wife was chuckling, and asking him if everything was fine from theother room. and he was feelng around for a napkin to fan himself, bc it stank so badly. and a few minutes later he started turning blue. an he couldnt breathe , but his wife from the other room insisted that he not remove the blindfold until she was ready to bring the surprise dinner. and he suck his face in his shirt and started coghing and gasping for clean air,. and 1 min later his wife came into the rom and asked him to remove the blindfold, and all his friends co-workers in laws and family were there. ive nver seen anyone turn so reeeeedddd. true story lol loll

The propoganda that Mr. Elder was spreading were comments related to the "months of hell" that children and combatants had to endure prior to reaching IDP facilities without any consideration for the THIRTY years of hell that they had to face at the hands of the LTTE and its recruitment and indoctrination wing - including that by fellow Aussie "Aunty" Adele Balasingham, a nurse from down under that taught women and children to be underage soldiers, suicide bombers and to take cyanide instead if surrendering - our rehab camps are full of young women who tell the stories of "Aunty" Adele.

i think kitchen princess is a good book for you to read its a anime/manga book. its in parts like book one book 2 and so on. its about a girl, her parents died when she was little so she jumped in a river/lake a boy saved her and gave her some fan to eat. before she could talk to the boy he ran off he dropped a spoon the soon and a letter on it. when she was like older she found a cooking school that had the same spoon.she got in.there are 2 brothers there that she thinks could have dropped the spoon.

I am looking for a story about Xena/Gabrielle. Xena and Gabby are traveling and Xena can’t stop thinking bout Gabrielle so she decides to do something drastic. She "kidnaps" Gabrielle and "rapes" her. Gabrielle has a good idea though that it really is Xena. Xena changes her appearance such as slicking her hair back and blindfolds Gabrielle’s eyes. Once he survives the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own. The boy is naturally terrified. 2003 Iraq - Me and my men were ordered to to take control of an old, worn hotel full of insurgents. The hotel was 5 stories high and there were sheets and towels covering a lot of the windows so it was quite hard to see if there were shooters in the windows, but that’s just part of it.

Me and my men (8 of them) were lying behind a hill about 300 yards away. We spotted out the building with binoculars and some with their M16s.

OF course I saw a couple of bad guys in the windows, but we had to wait for them to be hidden so we could make our move. Well any who, besides all the boring mumbo jumbo, we started to make our way from one cover to the next in hope that we wouldn’t be seen by any insurgents.

Suprisingly we made it to the front doors of our destinating without being shot at. That was the plan, to get there undetected. So far so good.

Well, we had to make out way in, so we quickly opened the door and threw three smokes inside and rushed in. I saw one who was leaning on the wall smoking a cigarette and quickly grabbed his AK and I got him twice in the head which quickly disfigured his face with brains and blood that flew seemingly more than normal. There were only two others in the lobby, but they were of course taken care of by my trusty brethern Rusty and Willaims. We check the rest of the lobby and called out, "CLEAR!" We check the rest of the bottom floor the rooms and everything. It was all clear on the bottom, and before we made out way up, we went and got what we could of the ammo left behind.

I went over to the poor soul with half a face blown off from bullets and I grabbed a grenade he had a nice knife that I used later.

So we made our way up. The second story, had a couple scared guys that were laying on the floor with their guns in front of them sayings something in their language. We knew they were surrendering so we tied them up and blindfolded them and sent them out to our men waiting in the lobby for captives. It’s always good to be on the winning side, whether you had to kill to stay alive or just capture, and it’s way better to not have to take a life.

Moving on, 3rd floor was empty ,"CLEAR!"

4rth floor was when it got sticky. We came up the stairs and there was a locked door. None had been locked up to this point, in fact most of the rooms didn’t have doors. So this is always a problem, because you don’t know what’s going to be behind it. But our job was to clear the whole buidling so here we go.

We set a device on the knob, and SGT Flasky called out, "15 seconds"

We all made our way away from the door, and then, "BOOM!"

Smoke is everywhere and wood chips all over the place. We align against the wall awaiting to ambush the room when all of the sudden an insurgent starts screaming, and he runs out into the hallway where we were with his AK and starts shooting everywhere blindly, and SGT Richards blows his shoulder off with his Mossenberg 500 12 gauge. His arm falls to the ground with his gun in hand, and he is still alive and screaming. He reaches for his gun with his other hand and Williams finishes him off with one shot to the head.

We toss some grenades into the room to hopefully finish off anyone left. We make our way in to see some dead bodies with missing limbs and pools of blood all over the place.

I came to one guy and his bottom half was detached and his stomach was visible. He was shaking and still alive so I ended his misery.

On to the fith floor, where a grenade was lobbed at us. Obviously they didn’t hold it for seconds before that, because we had to time to throw it out the window. (Normaly we would duck for cover, but the grenade had fallen between us and the nearest cover was ten feet away so SGT Starks made a quick decision on that one).

Well, we eventually finished off the last two guys, which one had another RPG that he didn’t use. Not sure why. If he did we would have been killed. Anywho, how’s that for a war story?

Factually a lot more graphic than accurate. Just to mention a couple:
Grenades don’t blow people’s bodies apart.
If somehow a person has lost the bottom part of their body, they are not still alive.
When going into rooms on a house search you don’t set "devices" on knobs, you kick in the door.
etc.
